A man was arrested on Friday in connection with a stabbing that resulted when a person crashed into his car, which was parked in front of his house.
Jose Rodriguez, 49, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault in connection with the stabbing, which occurred at about 7 p.m. on Friday in the 1500 block of 6th Ave. in Greeley.
According to Greeley police Lt. Steve Nelson, Jose Rojas, 35, crashed into the car and began discussing the crash with Louisa Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez's wife, when Jose Rodriguez confronted Rojas and began yelling.
Rojas tried to run away but fell down, Nelson said, and was stabbed with a small knife, similar to a box cutter.
Rojas drove in his car to a family member's house and was taken to North Colorado Medical Center, 1801 16th Ave. in Greeley, with non-life threatening injuries, Nelson said.
Jose Rodriguez was also wanted on a misdemeanor warrant, Nelson said.
