If you are one of those fossils who still corresponds the old-fashioned way, save a quarter or two and go to the post office today to stock up on forever stamps.

The U.S. Postal Service is increasing the price of a first-class stamp by one cent on Monday, so today and Saturday are your last chance to buy forever stamps at the 41-cent rate. The stamps will work even after future postage rate increases.

Anyone with graduation announcements, wedding invitations or Mother's Day cards might as well save the 20-cent-per-book increase and buy stamps before they go up again.
