Sleeping Beauty Graces Fort Collins

Print Comment
Beauty, a beloved princess in a land far, far away must find her way courageously through a cursed world of dreams by discovering who she truly is and who she wants to become.

Throughout the month of May, young actors from Northern Colorado will spin their version of Sleeping Beauty, one of the most well-known fairly tales of all time, as the Debut Theatre Co. and Debut Players create a world of spells, magic and fairies on-stage at the Lincoln Center.

Debut Theatre Co. serves as a creative outlet for young people as Northern Colorado’s only not-for-profit theatre academy and acting company for young people. Since 1991, DTC has provided “theater for young people by young people,” and its members are the actors as well as set designers, carpenters, painters, costume designers and make-up artists.

Sleeping Beauty is a production by Debut Players, DTC’s signature troupe, and the performance is appropriate for all ages.
